NMHIMA provides board members with the opportunity to represent their fellow HIM professionals in our state and to plan and create educational events tailored to the needs of those we serve. We are looking for dedicated, motivated individuals with a desire to share their time and expertise by becoming board members. Educational Volunteer Opportunities

Our education committee develops academic curricula for workshops provided by the board. Continuing education is an ongoing process and NMHIMA is here to help you gain knowledge and to keep your credits current. To ensure that learning education credits collaborate with the needs of HIM professions, NMHIMA positions itself as a cornerstone in the health informatics world by relying on research to deliver the best workshops in the state. Nominating Committee Volunteer Opportunities

Our nominating committee seeks to find individuals who will represent the state of NM by serving on NMHIMA. Health information management entails a wide variety of professional careers. It is our intention to enhance NMHIMA by recruiting professionals with a comprehensive understanding of the healthcare industry.
